Attention to Christianity’s internal diversities from first-century Palestine to the present; disputes over its boundaries and how ‘it’ should relate with its ‘others’; complicity with and resistance to structures of power; literary and artistic expressions; role in shaping Western modernity; and contemporary growth in Latin America, Africa, and Asia.
