EV309 - Population dynamics of wild, harvested, and endangered species

Why do some fisheries collapse? Will the African elephants go extinct? This course examines environmental questions in population ecology using differential and difference equation modeling in R. Course topics include population dynamics of single and multiple interacting species through time and space, the analysis of equilibria and stability, bifurcation, chaos, sensitivity, and parameterization. 1 unit.
