This course explores the basic fundamentals of spatial data creation, manipulation and analysis. Students will learn to use software to create data-driven insights through in class labs and projects. Students will demonstrate knowledge through daily computer lab exercises, writing assignments, and presentation of their own research project. Tools learned in the class will provide valuable skills students can later employ for research and employment. (Not offered 2024-25).
