Classroom Management

This course will examine traditional classroom management procedures with a focus on local K-12 public general education classrooms. Students will conduct classroom observations, design a classroom support intervention, collect and analyze data, and understand the impact of behavioral principles to make data-based decisions to positively address challenging student behaviors.

Prerequisite: Education 101 and one of the following: Education 210, Education 211, Education 218, Education 222, Education 225, Education 235 or Education 255.
