CC Elevate I supports students with their transition to Colorado College across Blocks 1-4 by deepening engagement with academic support resources, developing critical College literacies (how to make sense of syllabi that vary Block-to-Block; time management on the Block; seeing oneself in College history/traditions), creating a stable cohort of scholars investigating a shared text across blocks (the CC Common Read). Using the CC Common Read and reflective writing, students create a critical sense of belonging, reflect on their learning and disciplinary/interdisciplinary traditions, learn the CC tools to make informed decisions, and take agency to engage fully in their CC experience. (Not offered 2025-26).
