Data, Math, and Modeling

Students learn how to develop research questions on issues related to the intersection of business, economics, and society and to apply both business and economics theory to their analyses. Students find relevant and useful qualitative and quantitative data for their projects, develop mathematical and statistical models, practice using statistical software, create research designs to answer their research questions, and work on effective communication of their findings. (Not offered 2023-24).

Prerequisite: -MA 117 or -MA217; -BU205; -EC301 or -EC302.
