Comparative Animal Physiology

A whole-animal perspective on survival and maintenance of homeostasis in variable and often stressful environments. We will focus on aspects of water balance, feeding, digestion, metabolism, respiration and circulation. Course includes field and laboratory investigations. (Not offered 2021-22).

Prerequisite: Organismal Biology and Ecology 208 and Molecular Biology 131, and Organismal Biology and Ecology 106; or consent of instructor.
