In an effort to support the needs of our students and community, Colorado College has set forth the expectation that students complete this registration form when planning a party off-campus or in our apartments. Please keep in mind that while we wish to welcome back a fun social life back to our campus, our top priority must remain the safety and wellbeing of our community. With this in mind, we encourage the following risk mitigation practices in light of the ongoing COVID pandemic:

1. Risk of COVID transmission is higher in crowded and/or poorly ventilated spaces.  Therefore,
   1. Check the campus COVID protocols and guidance and encourage your guests to follow protocols that are consistent with campus and community transmission levels (i.e., regarding masking, etc.).
   2. When possible keep social gatherings outside (remember that alcohol is not allowed in public and outdoor spaces on campus including on apartment balconies).
   3. For indoor social gatherings keep windows and doors open to promote air circulation and limit the number of guests to allow for social distancing.
   4. The key idea is to avoid sharing unfiltered indoor air with non-household members. We have limited free materials available for you to make your own box filters; contact Amy Lewis alewis@coloradocollege.edu for more information. You can also create your own filtration with these DIY plans.
   5. Sanitize your space before and after the party and provide hand sanitizer in public areas during the party.
2. Do not provide communal drinks or use a single server for all drinks provided to guests.
3. Avoid drinking games.
4. Lower the volume of your music so guests can speak without standing close together.
