Native American Student Union
The Native American community has a strong history at Colorado College, especially since the establishment of the Native American Student Union (NASU) in the fall of 1977. Formerly known as Native American Student Association (1977-2002), the organization has brought awareness of indigenous identities to the CC campus and the surrounding community in Colorado Springs. NASU has hosted annual Pow-wows since 1991, invited multiple Native and Indigenous speakers and artists, and continues to be a powerful voice on positive social change.
