Nina Stavina Ambruso teaches science and lives in Denver with her husband, Dan, and new daughter, Anna. • Ellie Clark and Michael McGee were married May 28 in Denver. Alumni in attendance were Catt Mougalian, Tressa Pearson-Franks, Holly Scott, Nina Stavina Ambruso, and Joanne Svenningsen ’99. • Kate Frueh and Leigh Miller were married Sept. 4, 2004, at the Grant Humphrey Mansion in Denver. Buntport Theater member Brian Colonna was the officiator. Also in attendance were Buntport Theater members Erik Edborg ’97, Erin Rollman ’98, Samantha Schmitz,and Evan Weissman ’01,as well as Bryan DeLeuw, Sonja Kjellberg Colianni, Scott Morioka ’97, Brenda Park ’99, Clara Paynter, Josie Rodriguez-Bouchier ’01, and Nina Stavina Ambruso. Kate is starting her family practice residency at the Swedish Medical Center in Englewood, Colo. • Lindsey Housel is pursuing her M.S. at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. • Julia Nelson expects to receive her M.S. from Montana State University-Bozeman in December. • After graduating from CC, Jason Phillips worked at Earthlink in Pasadena, Calif., for three years as a financial analyst. He graduated from Harvard Business School in May, then went abroad to travel through Europe with friends. He has been in New York City since August, working for American Express in the acquisition integration division. • Meghan Rudd and Alex Moore ’02 have resided in California since returning from a year of studies in South Africa in 2003. Meghan received her master’s in agriculture in 2004 and Alex received his M.S. in 2005, both from the University of KwaZulu-Natal in Pietermarizberg, South Africa. Meghan is currently a Ph.D. candidate in clinical psychology at Pacifica Graduate Institute in Carpinteria, Calif. Alex is the education coordinator at Hansen Agricultural Learning Center in Santa Paula, Calif. • Andreas Schach is a high school teacher at the Christian-Wirth-Schule in Usingen, Germany.

is a teacher at Vail Mountain School. • Molly Coughlin owns and runs a jewelry store in New York City. Her signature designs, created for the “StarStrings Project,” are produced using the strings from a variety of musical instruments. Customers can purchase pieces constructed with the strings of a number of famous bands and musicians, including Blues Traveler, Alison Krauss, Elvis Presley, and more. • Alison Klimesh attends medical school at the University of Colorado’s Health Sciences Center. • Megan Klish and former CC development officer Ben Fibbe were married Aug. 13 at Shove Chapel on campus. YuenYuen Ang received her M.A. from Stanford University in 2003 and is pursuing her Ph.D. • Carson Bennett is teaching English 101, 102, and 220 at the University of New Mexico, as well as working on an M.F.A. in creative nonfiction writing. He misses “real mountains.” • Albert Farias and Jennifer Crockenberg were married July 20 in Las Vegas at the Little Church of the West. Alumni in attendance were Scott Challinor, Rob Holbrook, and Matt Northrop. The newlyweds plan to live in Pueblo, Colo.• Having received her M.S. in public health from the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center, Jenna Godfrey is continuing her studies at the university’s medical school.
Kathryn Rensberger Schopmeyer lives in Roseville, Calif., where she is a physical therapist with Newcastle Physical Therapy. • Sara Strain is a pre-school teacher. • Emily Tate and William Rounds were married July 9 in Fraser, Colo. • Raegan Truax is the program coordinator for Learning through an Expanded Arts Program (LEAP) in New York City, where she lives with her husband, Patrick O’Gorman. • Brandon Wolcott’slatest theatrical foray had a late-August run in the New York International Fringe Festival. The show, “A Certain Level of Commitment (an actor prepares)” is a rethinking of his senior drama project and was well-received by audiences and critics alike. • Sara Snyder and Scott Yo were married last year in New York City. Alumni in attendance were Cristina Bordes ’90, Pamela Doan ’92, Meredith Hunt ’90, Stephanie Michas ’91, Lisa Pike ’91, and Paul Raphaelson ’90 . Sara and her husband recently moved from New York City to live and work in the Bay Area.

Hillary Allyn attends law school at Golden Gate University in California. • Kristin Cambron is the branch manager for HSBC Bank in Killeen, Texas. • Jennifer Daniels lives in Denver, where she is a teacher. • Francesca Doriss has worked in mental health and education since graduating from CC, and is in the middle of a one-year contract teaching English at a school in South Korea. • Jake Dovenspike lives in Littleton, Colo., where he works in retail and bartending. • Patrick Holmes recently completed a fellowship with the Kinship Conservation Institute in Bozeman, Mont. The month-long institute introduces mid-career environmental leaders to market-based approaches to environmental problems and develops leadership skills through an intensive series of seminars and field trips. Patrick is the program coordinator for CC’s State of the Rockies project. • Kristy Payne Matteson joined the marketing department at Sound Surgical Technologies in June 2004. After graduation, Kristy worked as a paraprofessional in CC’s campus activities office. • Brian Potts is a client services manager with Chockstone in Portland, Ore.

Amanda Addison is pursuing her M.S. in forensic science at Arcadia University in Glenside, Penn. This summer, she participated in the Forensic Mentors Institute, which teaches underrepresented high school students from the Philadelphia area to perform original research relevant to forensics. • John Glinsman lives in Colorado Springs, where he is a child and youth coordinator with Family Life Services. • Corey Josselyn is pursuing her M.S. at Michigan State University. • Dana McLeod co-authored an article published in the March issue of the Journal of Business & Economic Research, “Accounting Scandal Announcement: A Test of Market Efficiency.” • Alexander “Sandy” Pope was accepted into Texas State University to pursue an M.A. in the secondary teaching program beginning this fall. • Melissa Romero is pursuing her M.Ed. at Arizona State University. She is a seventh- and eighth-grade science teacher. • Antonio Sandoval is the director of business development for Keystone International in New Mexico. He currently works on a number of contracts in New Mexico, with the Department of Energy, and in Las Vegas, with the Nevada Test Site.

Katherine Bartlett is pursuing her J.D. at Boston College in Massachusetts. • Jennifer Martin and Shane Kilkennon were married June 18 in Green Mountain Falls, Colo. • Spencer Pettine lives in New York City. He works for Viscogliosi & Company, an investment banking subsidiary of Viscogliosi Brothers, which is an independent merchant bank specializing in venture capital and private equity investments in the musculoskeletal/orthopedic sectors of the healthcare industry.
