Mara Andersen is a foreign service officer with the U.S. Department of State. • Chas Arnold has invented a revolutionary new pencil grip, targeted specifically for musicians, that attaches to both music stands and music cases or folders. He has been marketing his idea at conventions and shows across the country, and was recently profiled in an online article at mlive.com. • Camille Atkinson is working in South Sudan to design and establish programs in schools and communities to provide HIV/AIDS education. Although based in Nairobi, Camille frequently travels to remote areas of Equatoria, South Sudan. • Brandon Burns and Katy Haddorff were married Nov. 6 at Ruttgers Lodge in northern Minnesota. According to Brandon, “A bunch of CC friends came for the celebration and for one of our biggest reunions since graduation.” Alumni in attendance included Chris DeNatale, Ted Edwards, Kelly Erickson, Jen Gessert, Kiki Hutchins, Anna McGee, Josh Nardie, Dave Wirth, and Nolan Zeide. • Having completed his M.A. in mass communication from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2002, James Embry now lives in Los Angeles and works as a copywriter with Dailey and Associates in Hollywood. • Genevieve Flink Hornik lives in Colorado Springs with her husband, Thomas, and their two children, Mackenzie Rose and David Anthony. • Coyote Marino is currently pursuing his MBA at the University of Mississippi, where he is president of the MBA Association and serves on the university’s alumni board. • Brent Morgan lives in Washington, D.C., where he is a marketing events coordinator with the U.S. Green Building Council.

Courtney Clinkscales is at Emory University in Atlanta, studying for her master of medical science degree. • Emily Couper is a fifth grade teacher in Denver’s Sheridan School District. • Joe Dohrn and Ashley Schorger were married March 14 at the Hotel Villa Caletas in Playa Herradura, Costa Rica. The couple currently resides in Moline, Ill. Ashley is completing her final year at the University of Iowa for a doctor of pharmacy degree, and Joe is the IT director at Dohrn Transfer. • Bailey Figler is a student at the NYU School of Law. She expects to receive her J.D. in 2006. • Stephen Kast and Shannon Carney ’03 were married Oct. 9 in St. Paul, Minn. The couple lives in Greenwood Village, Colo., where Stephen is a police officer. • In March, Danielle Dahlin Quilling and her husband, Ryan, were profiled in an article on CNN.com. The article, “Millionaires in the Making,” focused on the Quillings’ long-term financial plans. • Photographer Tracy Rameil presented her first solo show, “Heads Up, High Altitude, Sky Scrapes from the Colorado Rockies,” at the Speakeasy Movie Theatre gallery at Colorado Mountain College in Breckenridge. • Laura Reed and Matt Coyne were married July 17 in Seattle, Wash. • Geoffrey Unger lives in Moab, Utah, where he is a climbing guide with Moab Cliffs & Canyons. • Claire Zimmerman is a botanist in Seattle, Wash.

Levi and Heather live in Falcon, Colo. • Youri Litvine is a commercial broker with NAI Horizon in Phoenix. • Rachel Lohof lives in Lander, Wyo., with her husband, Guy, and her son, Conley. • Sarah Martin and Alex Neuse were married June 12 in Scotts Valley, Calif. Included in the bridal party were Libby Earthman ’01, Marlaine Gray, and Hillary Swanson. Will Wieder ’01 also attended the celebration. • Jennifer Wiant is pursuing a master’s degree in journalism at Northwestern University in Chicago, after 2 1/2 years as a reporter for the Leadville Herald Democrat.

Melanie Bennett and Jacob Hostetler were married Dec. 30 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Wichita, Texas. Melanie is a preschool teacher at the SONshine Station Learning Center.
Andrew Billo is currently living in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, and has been working for the International Organization for Migration as a program assistant for the past seven months. He previously worked in the U.N. Volunteer Program as an English teacher for Vietnamese government officials. He would love to hear from others in the CC community interested in traveling to or living in Vietnam. • Kathryn Dowd (MAT) is a fourth grade teacher at Rivers Edge Elementary School. She lives in Richmond, Va. • Katie Guffin is a naturalist with the Exploring New Horizons Outdoor School in Loma Mar, Calif. • Ashley Fitzgerald Kipp has recently opened her own Pilates studio in Colorado Springs. Using her “tremendous background in fitness and coaching, her rigorous body arts and sciences international Pilates certification, as well as her NASN master nutrition certification,” Ashley seeks to serve the Colorado Springs community with “health and wellness.” • H.C. Martensen is currently an instructor and personal trainer at the YMCA of the Pikes Peak Region. He also runs the winter fitness programs at the Fountain Valley School, is self-employed as a personal trainer, and has his own nutrition company. • Kristoffer Roveillo is the assistant editor of the Boothbay Register in Boothbay Harbor, Maine. • Ethan Stebbins’ poem, “On Munsungun,” was published in the May edition of Poetry magazine. • Sarah West and Mike Herndon were married Aug. 1 at the Fox Run Regional Park in Black Forest, Colo. Sarah and her husband live in Colorado Springs.

Bill Bush and Jaemey Shim were married Oct. 30 in Chicago. They are now living and working in Illinois, and plan to pursue graduate degrees in the next few years. • Stacy Elmer lives in Brooklyn, N.Y. She works in the city as a bicycle messenger for Breakaway Courier and as a baker for Billy’s Bakery. • Cassie Hilpman recently returned to the CC campus to talk to students about Teach for America. Cassie discussed her experiences as a first-year teacher with the TFA program. • Heidi Overbeck published several poems in the spring 2005 edition of the Hudson Review, a New York City-based magazine of literature and the arts. • Grace Person, a CC fellow at the Pikes Peak Community Foundation, will soon head for Vermont Law School. Lindsay Fox ’06 will succeed her as the foundation’s newest CC fellow. • Alex Smith released his first album, “Perspective,” in the fall of 2003. In addition to working on his next album, Alex runs his own business, recording various artists and writing commercial jingles.
