Dirk Dykson was recently promoted to controller for Hewlett Packard’s intellectual property and brand-licensing efforts in the Emerging Technologies group. He lives in Loveland, Colo., with his wife, Lindie, and their three children, Dirk, Thany, and Christian. • Michael Lindenberger co-produced “Up For Grabs,” a documentary chronicling the battle for ownership of Barry Bond’s record-breaking home-run ball. The film received favorable reviews from the likes of Variety, Sports Illustrated, and the San Francisco Chronicle, among others, and was in theaters in limited release from Los Angeles to New York. • Scott Reynolds is a sales consultant, “mountain territory,” for Major League Soccer camps. He currently lives in Lakewood, Colo. • In March, Susie Romano was promoted to vice president of marketing at FINE LIVING TV Network.

Johanna Bond lives in Takoma Park, Md., with her husband, J.D. King, and her two sons, Elijah and Emmet. • Sandy Buffett has moved to Santa Fe, N.M., to serve as executive director for Conservation Voters New Mexico. • Mary Cheney recently signed a book deal with political strategist Mary Matalin’s new Simon & Schuster imprint. • After majoring in English at CC, Sally Clark studied European political science, economics, and history at the Institut D’Etudes Politiques in Paris, France, and obtained an M.S. in journalism from Columbia University. She lives and works in New York City as an independent documentary filmmaker. • Jessica Crosby is a reading specialist at Dever Elementary, a Boston public school. • Mercedes Tonne Fegley lives with her husband, Michael, and their new son, Oakes, in Allentown, Pa. She is currently working at Bethlehem Brew Works. • John Shors announces that Humble Journey Films of Hollywood, Calif., has purchased the rights to his best-selling book, “Beneath a Marble Sky: A Novel of the Taj Mahal.” • Jennifer Tseng’s first book of poems, “The Man With My Face,” recently won the Asian American Writers’ Workshop annual poetry competition. The book was published this spring by the workshop in collaboration with Temple University Press. • Christy Valpey and Kevin Kopischke were married Sept. 25 in Steamboat Springs, Colo. Kathy Noel Farrow recently completed her fellowship training in neonatology and has joined the faculty at Northwestern University in Chicago. She and Rachel Hegarty ’93 are excited to stop moving and settle down in Chicago. Rachel enjoys her new job as a project manager at Joint Commission Resources. They would love to hear from CC friends. • Makiko Kuraishi and Yodo Kawase were married Nov. 11 at the Shimogamo Shinto Shrine in Kyoto, Japan. • Echo Concepts, a company founded and owned by Alan Luzietti, received the 2005 Emerging Business of the Year award. The award, sponsored by Xcel Energy and the Denver Metro Chamber of Commerce, recognized Alan’s company for outstanding entrepreneurial achievement and community support. • Deborah Dixon Mensch, her husband, Tim, and daughter, Petra, are moving to a co-housing community in Pleasant Hill, Calif. Deborah suggests, “If you’re coming to the Bay Area, e-mail us!” • Laura Hegerle Montague and her husband, Mark, live in Thessaloniki, Greece, with their two daughters, Theodora and Zoe. • Lee and Kerri Tashiro ’90 Vierling live in Moscow, Idaho, where Lee is an assistant professor at the University of Idaho in the College of Natural Resources. Both are “enjoying life in Idaho with our daughters, Tia and Kira, and would love to hear from CC friends far and wide.” • In February, Nathan Warren became co-editor of Bias Media, a new multimedia youth marketing venture jointly owned by MediaNews Group and Scripps Howard. • The Hawaii Ecotourism Association presented John White’s eco-tour company, Latatudes & Atatudes, with the “Ecotourism Operator of the Year” award. John reports that he is “proud to continue to promote the culture and assist in preserving the environment in true CC fashion!”

She and her husband, Michael, have two children. • Sarah Gordon and her “sweetheart,” Phil Lavine, were married Sept. 22 in Jerusalem, Israel. Sarah is currently in her second year of studying traditional Chinese medicine. • Jena Graber Hausmann lives in Westminster, Colo., with her husband, Kevin, and their 2-year-old son, Andrew. Jena is the vice president of the Children’s Hospital in Denver. • Andrew Lotrich lives with his wife, Kelly, and their daughters, Tessie and Sylvie, in Albuquerque, N.M. Andy is a staff representative, lobbyist, and teacher-trainer for the New Mexico Federation of Educational Employees. • Reynolds Moulton is the president of Dogmatic Products, one of the fastest growing pet-product companies in the world. Louisa Armbrust , an artist in Lakewood, Colo., reports that her work will be shown in Denver’s Museum of Contemporary Art for its “2005 Biennial Blow-Out: Beyond Comfort! Beyond Representation!” The show runs July 8 - Sept. 25. Louisa is one of only 10 artists selected from more than 750 who applied. • Claire Carpenter is a professor at Yakima Valley Community College in Yakima, Wash., where she lives with her husband, Gary Miller. • Christopher Masoner is an associate in Blackwell Sanders Peper Martin’s real estate department in the firm’s Kansas City, Mo., office. • Rob Stone and his band, “Rob Stone & the C-Notes,” performed last winter and spring at Chicago’s House of Blues.

After nine years at Hewlett-Packard, Jakob Bovin continues his work as a business development manager for Europe in the commercial printing segment. He and his wife, Cristina, moved into a new house in Commugny, Switzerland. • Alexandra Conti is a partner at Butler Conti in Union, N.J. • Aimee Gabel lives with her husband, Luke, and her 1-year-old son, Jack, in Ft. Washington, Md. She is currently pursuing her M.S. at American University. • Sarah Gorecki is currently working for the Colorado Fourteeners Initiative as the field projects manager and pursuing a degree in nonprofit management at Regis University. • Karen Weidman Holland and her husband, Derek, live in Denver. Karen is a family therapist with the Community Reach Center in Northglenn, Colo. • Alex Salazar has been appointed to a seat on El Centro Cultural de la Raza’s Board of Trustees. El Centro is a 35-year-old nonprofit cultural arts organization, established in 1970 and based in San Diego, whose mission is to create, promote, and preserve Mexican, Chicano, and indigenous arts. • Inge Alpers Travis lives in Park City, Utah, with her husband of four-plus years, Jason, and their 1 1/2 year-old son, Gunnar. Inge is a sales rep for WesternWare and a stay-at-home mom.

Michael Feuer writes, “Hi to everyone out there. Life takes crazy turns, but some things stay the same. I am living in the Judean Desert with an amazing wife and two beautiful baby daughters. While gathering information among Tibetans and Uigher herdsmen, he is having fun trying to write a dissertation on the environmental and ecological history of the northern Sichuan province. • Sara Fuller Hutchinson and family are enjoying life in Park City, Utah. • Chris Long and Yuki Murata were married Jan. 1 in Santa Fe, N.M. Security concerns were high at this very public event, which featured the U.S. ambassador to Afghanistan.

Emily Ann and Jimmy Jellinek’s April baby shower was also a mini-reunion of sorts, with numerous fellow grads joining in the festivities. Alumni in attendance included Eric Blair, Rachel Conn, Amy Duchelle, Carey Hodges, Jesse Kulp, Trudy Strassburger, and Sarah Laurin ’98. • Nick Bailey is a publicist at Shore Fire Media in New York City, where he represents musicians and bands including Robert Plant, Jamie Cullum, Doc Watson, and others. According to Nick, “It’s fun and it all ties back to CC — I’ve been working on promoting music and musicians ever since chairing the Livesounds committee under the expert guidance of [KRCC Station Manager] Mario Valdes.” • Kimberly Sanchez Cawthorn is currently a full-time master of arts candidate at the University of Denver College of Education, studying urban education while earning her license as a Spanish teacher. • Rachel Conn is the clean water circuit rider for Amigos Bravos, Friends of the Wild Rivers, in Taos, N.M. • Gwen Lankford was appointed by the governor of Montana to work as a policy aide for the state legislature’s Senate majority leadership. She will foster communication between the state and its Native American tribes. • Kahoua Ly currently lives in London and would love to meet up with other CC grads in the area. • Heather Zorn and Tom Butler were married July 17 in Eugene, Ore. Jana Bennett and Joel Schickel were married May 21 at Duke Chapel, Duke University, in Durham, N.C. Alumni in attendance included Anne Fitzmaurice FitzMedrud, Christina Polycarpou, Ann Elise Ware, and Kara Reagan ’02. Jana will begin teaching at Hampden-Sydney College, an all-men’s liberal arts school, in the fall of 2005. • E. Tucker Harrison and Kimberly Kubie ’01 were married March 12 at the W Hotel in New York. Kimberly is a registered nurse at New York-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell hospital, and Edward works at Wind-up Entertainment as the manager of a music publication. • In June, Penguin Press HC released Kaui Hemmings’ new book, “House Of Thieves.” The book explores the lives of several upper-class Hawaiian families. • Jonathan Kidde is currently pursuing his master’s degree in social work from the University of California-Berkeley. • Amanda Lund lives in Salt Lake City with her husband, Edward. She is currently a resident in internal medicine at the University of Utah. • Carrah Malone received her J.D. from the Nova Southeastern School of Law in 2002. She now lives in Boston, where she works for Goodwin Procter. • Shawn Sears and Laura Dickerson ’99 were recently profiled in the San Francisco Chronicle for their work with Vida Verde, a 250-acre organic farm and nonprofit environmental education program they founded in Half Moon Bay, Calif. The farm was also the host of this year’s annual CC Cares event in May, with alumni volunteers helping to prepare a new site for student groups. • Christine Stolz-Noel recently received a promotion to contracts administrator with KB Home. She lives in Vero Beach, Fla., where she keeps busy training for bicycle events and playing t-ball with her son, Anthony. Christine recently took a trip to Chicago, where she met up with Marcy Harman ’96 .

In the past year alone, Nelson Scott Jarrell summited Mt. Kilimanjaro, placed fourth in a duathalon, completed the Chicago marathon, and moved across the country to New York. Needless to say, “last year was a very good one” for this superhuman CC grad. • James Killpack and Libby Luke were married Aug. 7 in Wrightsville Beach, N.C. They are both currently graduate students pursuing their M.A.s in accountancy at the University of North Carolina-Wilmington. Upon graduation, James and Libby will move to Portland, Ore., to work for KPMG. • Ari Krepostman is living in New York and managing the festival release of several films his company produced in 2004 and 2005. He is excited to report that he returned to Colorado in April for the world premiere of “Bagelized!” at Aspen Shortsfest. Another film he produced, “Coney Island, 1945,” premiered in April and May at the Tribeca Film Festival. • Sarah Meck and Magnus Svaerd were married August 21 in Stockholm, Sweden. Sarah and her husband currently live in Vallerturn, Sweden, where she is a consultant for Nordic TLC. • Kat Moore and Peter Rebstock were married May 1, 2004, in Vero Beach, Fla. Alumnae Chloe Grinnell, AmieMotsinger, Sarah Ramirez, and Sarah Walton were among the wedding party. Kat and her husband now live in Chicago, where she is a senior account executive at Draft.
