After 10 months of travel and work with the World
Wildlife Fund in Indonesia, Michael Lichtenfeld
is living in Aspen, Colo., where he is a full-time
jazz pianist. He is also spearheading a valley-wide
project to get the public bus system to use Biodiesel,
an alternative fuel. • Kristin Schmelz
lives in Santa Cruz, Calif., where she is
a program associate with the Conservation Strategy

where he met up with Shawna Williams.
While in the U.S. for work, he also visited with Sishir

and Valerie Plesch. Back in his hometown
of Brussels, Belgium, Youri was visited by students
Nicholas Rees ’05 and Sayo
Yamaguchi ’05, who were studying abroad
