Ted Lawton lives in Placentia, Calif., with his wife Robyn and their children, Payton, Bubba, and Jordan. Ellen is a marketing research manager with Starbucks Coffee. • Alison Dunlap was inducted into the 2003 Colorado Springs Sports Hall of Fame at a ceremony in November. • Becky Gillette is an interpreter-educator with the National Park Service in Bryce Canyon National Park, Utah.

He lives in Hopkinton with his wife Val and their daughter, Katherine. They are enjoying a more relaxed lifestyle now that they don’t have to commute into Manhattan for work. • Kristin Perry is vice principal of Vernon Township High School in Vernon, N.J. • Curtis Saulnier and Anna Szczesna were married Sept. 28. Julissa Portales Banzon is a writing tutor for graduate students at Erikson Institute and a field advisor at Harold Washington College, both in Chicago. She lives in Frankfort with her husband Julius and their children, Julian, Jeremy, and Jaeley. • Karl Becker is C.E.O. of Focus Logic in Denver. Erin Johnson is a professional firefighter for South Metro Fire Rescue in Denver. • Lisa Katon and Noah Kressel were married Aug. 17 in Portland, Ore. Alumni in attendance were Tamara Gower ’95 and Marcy Rantzow Smith ’95. Lisa and Noah live in Brooklyn, N.Y., where Lisa works in alumni relations at N.Y.U. • Laurisa Rogers Lusby is a contract therapist working with children in the child protection system in Kansas City, Mo., and trying to start a private practice. Shea Andersen and Jennifer Pierce live in Albuquerque, N.M., where Shea is a political writer for the daily Albuquerque Tribune and Jennifer is completing her Ph.D. in geology at the University of New Mexico. • Adam Clack lives in Louisville, Colo., where he is a landscape architect with H&L Architecture. • Davison Collins is working in Melaque, Mexico, as the director of Immersion Adventures. He directs environmental field study courses in conjunction with The Great Basin Institute at the University of Nevada-Reno.

Murphy and Cristina Llamas Brasuel are back in Colorado Springs and have bought their first home. Murphy is a visiting professor of chemistry at Colorado College. • Kenneth Harris was one of the ‘21 Under 31’ artists named in Southwest Art’s annual emerging artists issue. His paintings are featured at Terrence Rogers Fine Art in Santa Monica, Calif., and in Gallery C in Hermosa Beach. (See story on page 15.) • Adam Henrich is a captain in the U.S. Marine Corps and serves as the future operations officer for the Sixth Marine Regiment at Camp Lejeune, N.C.

Evan Hill is a senior program manager with Thinkshare in Seattle, Wash. He lives in North Bend with his wife Kameron and their two daughters. • Geoffrey Lewis (MAT) teaches biology at Palmer High School in Colorado Springs, where he lives with his wife Babbs and their children, Annabel and Giles. • Drew Mayer is pursuing his M.B.A. at the University of Texas-Austin. • Megan Bradley Nilsen and husband Scott ’95 live in Grand Junction, Colo., where Megan works part-time as a high school guidance counselor at Fruita Monument High School and Scott is the area director for Young Life.

Jake Norton spoke at the Colorado Springs Convention and Visitors Bureau’s annual dinner. His presentation was entitled “300 Days of Everest.” He also spoke in December at the CC Denver Business and Community Alliance meeting. • Penny Rieke and Paul Arentsen were married Sept. 6 in Jackson, Wyo. Alumni in attendance were Heather Ogren ’95, Paul and Julie Trachtenberg D’Amours, Callie Kessinger, Wendy Fox Knight, and Tim and Christy Soper Turnbull. Penny is completing a master’s degree in watershed science at Utah State University-Logan. • Jamie Roberts and Nathan Rasch ’97 were married May 24 at Shove Chapel. Alumni in attendance were Brad Yale ’92, Michael Goldberg ’95, and Kelsi Snoke. Jamie had been directing theatre and opera professionally in the Washington D.C. area, but she and Nathan have now relocated to Denver.

He is also pursuing his M.B.A. through the University of Phoenix. • Vanessa DeCarbo is the director of communications and research for the Hispanic Council for Educational Options in Washington, D.C. • Debbie Finn and Jeremy Snyder were married Oct. 25.

James Jellinek lives in New York, where he is a writer. • Tina Kummerle lives in Cherry Valley, Calif., where she works for Highland Springs Conference and Training Center. • Britney Lanham is a mental health educator with Terry Reilly Health Services in Nampa, Idaho. • Melissa Mazmanian and Bryon Martin were married in August 2002. Alumna Hilary Clausing was the maid of honor. They live in Boston, where Melissa is pursuing a Ph.D. in organizational studies at the M.I.T. Sloan School of Management.

Isaac Ngola is a senior engineer at Hamilton Sundstrand, based in Rockford, Ill. He is also pursuing his master’s degree in mechanical engineering at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. • Anna Noson and Doug Milek were married Sept. 13 on Whidbey Island, Wash. Alumni in attendance were Doug Collins and Amy Zarrett, Marci Krass, and Kim Van Mourik. They live in Missoula, Mont., where Anna is a research specialist at the University of Montana.

Carrie Noteboom lives in New York, where she is a law clerk to the Hon. Nina Gershon, Eastern District of N.Y. • Keri Tessler and Dennis Sullivan were married Sept. 20. • Emily Walker and Brent West were married Sept. 13 in Nobleboro, Maine. David and Molly live in Chicago, where David is practicing law and Molly is finishing her degree in school psychology at Loyola University.

Katy Derby is director of student affairs/admissions at Foothills School in Boise, Idaho. • Megan Eggers lives in Boulder, Colo., where she is pursuing a master’s degree in somatic psychology at Naropa University. • Renee Greco lives in Seaside, Ore., where she teaches third grade at Cannon Beach Elementary School. • Michelle Henderson is pursuing a master’s degree at the School of Social Welfare at the University of California-Berkeley. • Adam Lerner is a graduate student in McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas-Austin.

Robyn Anderson and William Goldy were married Aug. 23 in Manitou Springs, Colo. Alumni in attendance were Julia Paris Neville ’98 and Andrea Reiskin ’01. • Evan Berry and Gina Parlapiano were married March 29, 2003, in Sea Ranch, Calif. Alumni in attendance were Noah Budnick, Peter Jacoby, Drew Nelson, Charlie Truitt and Megan Kraus ’98, and Blake Trask ’01. Evan and Gina live in Santa Barbara, Calif., where Evan is working on his Ph.D. in religious studies at the University of California. Gina recently received her teaching credential in English from University of California-Santa Barbara.

Jeff Brazee and Amanda Olson were married Aug. 12 near Blue Hill, Maine. Alumni in attendance were Lew and Hilary Brock Parker. Jeff is in his third year teaching French and Spanish at Shapleigh Middle School in Kittery, Maine. • Kelly Morgan Deters lives in Topeka, Kan., with her husband Luke and their son, Caleb. Kelly teaches chemistry at Hayden High School. • Clint Johnson and Amanda Bird were married in December 2002 in Lostine, Ore. Alumnus Nathan Welton was in attendance. Paul Johnson is a third-year medical student at the Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine in Jefferson City, Mo., where he lives with his wife Carmen and their sons, Landon and Hayden. • Ari Krepostman lives in Manhattan, where he produces short films. He’d love to hear from fellow alumni living in New York. • Sara Loosen and Nigel Otto were married Aug. 30. They live in Chicago, where Sara is pursuing her M.F.A. at the Center for Book and Paper at Columbia College.

Rachel Ngola is earning her M.B.A. at the University of Chicago. • After taking the bar exam, Heather O’Brien spent a month backpacking along the eastern coast of Australia. She is now a judicial clerk for the Hon. Alex J. Martinez of the Colorado Supreme Court in Denver.
Robert Pokorney finished his first solo exhibition of paintings at a gallery in Minnesota. He is pursuing a master’s degree in French at Middlebury College in Vermont and was planning on taking the winter off to surf in Ecuador and ski in Jackson, Wyo.

Stephen Raher is the senior policy analyst at the Colorado Criminal Justice Reform Coalition in Colorado Springs. • John Seitz is a graduate student in the history of
religion in America at Harvard University in Cambridge, Mass. • Benjamin Shlaer reports that he has just published his first paper on string theory. He is a graduate student at Cornell University in Ithaca, N.Y. • McB Smith is living in Des Moines, Iowa, where she is the marketing and public relations director for the Des Moines Metro Opera. • Bob Templin M.A.T. lives in Monument, Colo., with his wife Paula. • Heather Wood is a social worker with Casey Family Programs in Durango, Colo.
