transplant. To celebrate, she spent a week in Maui, Hawaii,
where she biked down Haleakala, an active volcano, snorkeled
off the coast of Lanai, and took a helicopter tour of the

finalist at September’s Toronto Film Festival, Andrew
Mudge had 10 days to write, shoot, and edit a film.
Mudge’s work, called “The Perfect Gooseys,”
won the 2003 Chrysler Million Dollar Film Festival award.
He will receive a $1 million budget to bring his feature-length
film, “The P.T. Johansen Field Guide to North American
Monsters,” to the screen through Universal Studios.
• Joseph Sharman, CC’s computer
help desk manager, and student Hyo Lee ’04 traveled
to Kenya along with computers donated by CC to Kenya Methodist
University in the foothills of Mt. Kenya. They helped an elementary
school near KEMU set up and use computers for the first time.
