Will Gadd lives in Canmore, Alb., where he continues to live the Block Plan lifestyle into early middle age, with specific emphasis on block breaks, deadline crunches, and the mountains.
Jennifer Gubser is living in London for the next three years. She is a senior director with the Corporate Executive Board and “despite the weather, couldn’t be happier with my new home.” • Laura O’Neal and David Staver were married Sept. 25 on Signal Mountain, Tenn. The art is sold online and from the company’s New York City gallery. The goal of Mixed Greens is to make the purchase of artwork more accessible, affordable, and fun.

Blythe Baten is an actress in Los Angeles, Calif., where she lives with her husband, Joe Witt, and their son Zachary Leo. • Mark Doherty and Shari Yoder were married Oct. 2 in Point Reyes Station, Calif. Mark and Shari live in San Francisco, where Mark works with the Citigroup Private Bank. • Chris Gruber is still serving in the Army as the commander of the 236th helicopter air ambulance company based in Germany. He deployed with his unit in January to southern Iraq for a one-year tour of duty. • Janet McFarland is the manager of institutional projects at the Denver Botanic Gardens. • David Rippon is the associate director of the JK Watson Fellowship Program, a program of the Thomas Watson Foundation. He lives in New York City with his wife, Heather, and new puppy La-La. • Jeff Truell lives in Santa Monica, Calif., and is a resident in pathology at the University of California-Los Angeles. • Michelle McKinnon Veloso is the new senior director of investor relations for SIRIUS, the national satellite radio provider, based in New York.

Randy and Melea Madsen Benzel live in Castle Rock, Colo., with their children Kendal, Cameron, and Courtney. Randy is a senior data warehouse developer with Catholic Health Initiatives. While pursuing her human resources management degree, Melea works part time as an online customer service agent for Office Depot and Viking Office Products. • Rob Burke lives in Bainbridge Island, Wash., with his wife, Helen, and their daughters Madison and Lila. • Wally Long runs the office of gift planning at Saint Paul’s School in Hopkinton, N.H., where he lives with his wife, Valerie, and their daughters Katherine and Charlotte. • Mary Gibson Shoemaker is principal of David Hill Elementary School in Hillsboro, Ore. • Mike Van Zandt relocated to Tokyo, Japan, from Santa Rosa, Calif., with his wife, Naoko, and their daughter Hannah. Mike manages U.S.C.I. Japan, a medical device company partnered with Medtronic Vascular in the U.S. The Van Zandts would love to meet up with other CC alumni in the area. • Andrew Wilkey is a first-year resident in anesthesiology at the University of Iowa in Iowa City, where he lives with his wife, Jennifer, and their son Isaac.

Elena Garfield spent eight weeks last fall in Jinotepe, Nicaragua, volunteering as an occupational therapy supervisor for therapists working with children with a variety of disabilities. • Kris Kimber is in his first year of orthopedic surgery residency at the University of Minnesota-Minneapolis. • Brigid Maher, assistant professor in the School of Communication at American University, was awarded a Fulbright Scholar grant to lecture at Notre Dame University in Lebanon for the spring semester. Brigid will teach broadcast media in the communications program and will direct a cross-cultural symposium in broadcast media in May at Notre Dame. • Charity Ingersoll Reiter lives in Kinston, Ala., with her husband, Richard, and their 2-year-old daughter Addison Marie. • Tanya Skurski is a botanist at Grand Teton National Park in Wyoming.

Erica and Howie live in Gainesville, Fla., where Erica is pursuing a Ph.D. in applied anthropology at the University of Florida. • Sara Fuller Hutchinson and husband Matt ’94 have relocated to Park City, Utah, with their golden retriever Cooper. Matt graduated from law school and is an attorney in Salt Lake City. • Jennifer Rael is a pediatrician at Evans Army Community Hospital at Fort Carson, Colo. • Molly Ross and John Fritch were married June 19 in Oklahoma City, Okla. They live in Ann Arbor, where Jonathan is pursuing an M.B.A. at the University of Michigan. • Julie Wheat and Robert Lesman were married Oct. 16 in Austin, Texas. Alumni in attendance were Nicole King Coons and Jennifer Wheat Fisher ’98. • Sara Wight and Michael Valentine ’98 live in Contoocook, N.H., with their two “lovable” Bernese Mountain dogs. Michael passed the New Hampshire bar exam and is practicing with a firm in Manchester. Sara completed her master’s degree in teaching and now teaches sixth grade.

Over the summer, Jenny Barba completed the Ironman U.S.A. Triathlon in Lake Placid, N.Y., completing the 2.4-mile swim, 112-mile bike, and the 26.2-mile run in 16:29:24. Jenny is now in Ann Arbor, Mich., where she is pursuing her M.B.A. and M.P.H. at the University of Michigan. • In August, Elizabeth LoNigro was appointed executive director of the New York City Commission on Women’s Issues by Mayor Michael Bloomberg. • Pete Reiser works in the financial intelligence unit at Sovereign Bank in Boston, Mass. He is doing anti-money laundering and homeland security investigations. • Jered Shein lives in Parkersburg, W.V., where he is a commercial credit analyst with United Bank. • Justin Spring and Erin Harvey were married July 19, 2003, in Grand Lake, Colo. Alumnus Chad Hoeppner performed the ceremony.
