CC Bound: Think About It
As we strive together to create a socially responsible learning community, CC requires all new first-year and transfer undergraduate students to take Think About It for college before coming to campus.
Think About It is a mandatory, science-based online course that prepares incoming college students for the unique challenges and responsibilities of college life. Recognizing that the issues of drug and alcohol abuse, the hookup culture, sexual violence, and healthy relationships are all connected, the program examines these topics in social, cultural, and personal contexts that advocate self-reflection and the pursuit of social justice.
All new first-year and transfer students must complete all 3 parts of Think About It during their first year at Colorado College to fulfill this training requirement. Part I of this training will become available 30 days prior to the first day of class and must be completed before the first day of class. For 2016 fall-start students, this means Part I of the course will become available on July 19th and must be completed no later than August 19th. Part II of the course will become available 90 days after your completion of Part I and Part III will become available 90 days following your completion of Part II. Reminders concerning these dates and further details will be sent to your Colorado College email address.
Accessing the Course
An email will be sent to new students’ Colorado College email address with information about the course and a link to access it. Subsequent emails will follow concerning all 3 parts of the course. Please be aware that you will need to know your Colorado College email address (email@example.com) in order to access the Think About It course and to receive these emails. All Colorado College students are expected to check their Colorado College email address on regular basis for official College notifications and correspondence.
