    Colorado College alumni and friends participated in the 37th annual Books on the Beach held March 16-17, 2019, at the Rio del Mar, California home of Meryl and Bob Selig '61. CC Provost and Professor of Environmental Science, Alan R. Townsend led the discussion on climate change.

    Twelve Colorado College students participated in the January 2019 for the Half Block Tiger Trek to London, which included visits to alumni working in diplomacy, finance, consulting, education, and nonprofits. Altogether, 30 students, staff, alumni, and friends of the college took part. Tiger Treks, a partnership between the Career Center and the Office of Alumni and Family Relations, are ongoing student field trips to major cities that showcase successful alumni and potential career paths.

    Guided by Professor of Economics and Business Mark Smith, CC alumni explored the American West in October 2018, which included adventures throughout the Grand Canyon National Park, onboard two Old West trains, and discovering the Native American history at the Montezuma Castle National Monument.

    Tiger Talks 2018: "Beyond the Boundaries" showcased ideas worth sharing from (and for) the CC community at Buntport Theater in Denver Oct. 24, 2018.

    Peter Skrbek '03 hosted CC alumni, parents, and friends at the Deschutes Brewery in Bend, Oregon on Nov. 10, 2018. During a private tour of its production facility, guests were able to see how they craft beer firsthand!
