Meal Plans

All students who reside on-campus housing are required to be on a meal plan to promote the social experiences surrounding dining together as part of the residential experience.  Students living in traditional halls, small houses and language houses are required to be on meal plan C for the fall semester and have the option to upgrade if they choose. For Spring semester students will be placed on the meal plan they selected in the fall semester and will again have the chance to change the plan if they wish.  Students living in apartments, with the exception of the Synergy House are required to be on an apartment meal plan ($300) each semester, they also have the option to upgrade to one of the full meal plan options of Meal Plan C, B or A.  Students who live off campus are not required to be on a meal plan, but may choose any meal plan option. 

Student may change their meal plan “one-time” per semester by going online to  Click on the meal plan option and enter your ID# and Name into the email.  The student accounts office will change your meal plan within 3 to 4 business days.  All meal plan change requests must be completed in writing (we do not make meal plan changes over the phone).  Students will not be allowed to downgrade their meal plan after the second week of school.

All students are encouraged to give feedback about their specific needs to the Bon Appetit staff.  Pack-out meals or “to go” meals are available with advance notice for religious observances such as Ramadan or for groups of students going on weekend trips, please contact Bon Appetit.  On rare occasions, due to religious or medical conditions that cannot be accommodated through the meal plan, exemptions may be granted.  Applications for this process must be completed by the end of the first block of each semester.  Students who feel their situation may warrant this should contact dining services (Bon Appeitit) during the first week of class.


Meal plan options and cost:

Meal Plan A: $2,659 per semester

Meal Plan B: $2,464 per semester

Meal Plan C: $2,243 per semester


Tiger Bucks loaded for each meal plan is as follows:

Meal Plan A: $2,247

Meal Plan B: $2,052

Meal Plan C: $1,831


Tiger Bucks will roll over from fall semester to spring if a balance is left over.  After spring semester, whatever tiger bucks remain are forfeited.  All meal plans have an administrative fee as part of the cost which is $412 per semester.
