Class of 1989, 30th Reunion
Friday, Oct. 11
Reception, Home of Steve Kaczmarek ’89
Alumni and their guests are invited to a reception at the home of Steve Kaczmarek '89. (Steve's address will be provided on your registration itinerary. Registration opens Aug. 5.) A shuttle to Steve's house will be provided and will pick up at the following locations:
5:30 p.m.: CC – South side of the Worner Center
5:40 p.m.: The Antlers
5:50 p.m.: The Mining Exchange
Fig Newton, Hokkaido Scallop, Wild Mushroom Tart, Shrimp Potstickers, Cheese and Vegetables, and Chef Action Station. Host bar: beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages.
The reception will be catered by Four by Brother Luck.
Meet-up, Golden Bee, 1 Lake Ave.
A shuttle will be provided from the home of Steve Kaczmarek '89 to the Golden Bee. The shuttle schedule is as follows:
10 p.m.: Pick up at Steve’s house and drop off at the Golden Bee as well as CC (South of Worner Center), The Antlers, and Mining Exchange hotels. (Note time change. Due to the large number of attendees, alumni driving their own car can head over to the Golden Bee at 9 p.m. and a second wave of alumni can take the shuttle at 10 p.m. so we don't overwhelm the venue.)
12:00 a.m.: Pick up at Golden Bee and drop off at: CC (South of Worner Center), The Antlers, The Mining Exchange Hotels. (Anyone who doesn’t take the shuttle at this time will need to find alternate transportation.)
Saturday, Oct. 12
11 a.m.-12:45 p.m.
Hike through Garden of the Gods, 1805 N 30th St.
A shuttle will be provided:
11 a.m.: Pick up at the Tutt Science Building Loop and drop off at Garden of the Gods north parking lot
12:45 p.m.: Pick up in north parking lot at Garden of the Gods and drop off on south side of Worner Center
Reception, Studio C, Edith Kinney Gaylord Cornerstone Arts Center, 825 N. Cascade Ave.
Build-your-own street tacos buffet:
Rice, braised chicken, black beans, shredded cabbage, pickled vegetables, sour cream, cilantro, lime, queso fresco, assorted bottled hot sauces, corn tortillas, and churros. Host bar: beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages.
