Our accomplishments are resulting in a brighter, bolder, better CC.

The college experienced another record year for applications — 8,064 — resulting in a 17 percent selectivity rate for the class of 2019. CC was cited as the third “Most Entrepreneurial College in America” by Forbes. We hosted our first-ever national Symposium on Field Study July 8–11.

Re-imagining CC’s Intellectual Hub

Imagine a centrally located, natural light-filled library on CC’s campus built specifically for the Block Plan.

A total of 15,255 alumni, parents, students, friends and organizations made gifts to the college during fiscal year 2015, including 5,755 alumni donors. Donor participation helps current students experience the fullest form of a CC education by providing financial aid, program and department funding, career resources, and athletic support. Robert Grant

Barnes Scholar Establishes a Scholarship, Qualifies for Challenge Funding

Fifty years after graduating from Colorado College, Robert Grant ’65 called his alma mater to make a significant commitment to the Otis A. and Margaret T. Barnes Chemistry Scholarship Fund. Otis Barnes, professor of chemistry, along with his wife Margaret Tyson Barnes ’27, established the scholarship.

Endowed Scholarship Challenge 101: $10 million challenge

An anonymous CC alumnus will direct $100,000 to CC scholarships for every $100,000 or more committed to endowed scholarships up to $10 million.

Goal:
