Faculty Student Collaborative Grant

The goal of the Faculty-Student Collaborative Grant is to fund summer collaborative research between faculty and students in order to support faculty in their scholarly activities and to provide students with first-hand research and scholarly experience through collaborating with research-active faculty.

The awards are competitive and based on proposals submitted by faculty members. Research projects may be part of the faculty member's on-going research or it may be a new project designed collaboratively by the faculty and the student that further the faculty member's research.

Eligibility:
Tenure-track, adjunct, lecturer, and returning one-year visiting faculty members are eligible to apply. Students must be degree seeking Colorado College students in good standing who will return to CC for at least one semester after the summer, and who can commit to researching full-time (not taking a course concurrently or have substantial employment).

We invite faculty from across the disciplines to apply for the 2021 Faculty Student Collaborative Research Grant. Applications open January 12 and are due March 10, 2021. A new Canvas shell for the Office of the Vice Provost has been created and will be used for submissions. Please note that the feasibility of in-person work/instruction and conference and other travel in the summer depends on many variables, including COVID-19 prevalence on campus and in the county, vaccine availability, etc. We will do what we can to make this possible, but there is a lot of uncertainty surrounding these issues.
