The pre-college program has four cost components:

  1. Application fee of $50 (waived if you've previously taken a CC course).
  2. Tuition Regular, one block course tuition is $4,600 per 1 CC unit (4 semester hours).
    • Regular Block A and B courses are 1 CC unit.  Tuition is $4,600
    • Multi-block courses are 2 CC units.  Tuition is $9,200
    • The Pre-college Block Program courses are .75 CC units (3 semester hours) and .25 CC units (1 semester hour)
      • .75 CC unit (3 semester hours) tuition rate is $3,450
      • .25 CC unit (1 semester hour) tuition rate is $1,150
  3. Program Fee (variable - see course descriptions for program fees)
  4. Room and Board Charges (for students not living at home)
    • Application fees and course deposits should be submitted with your application.
    • Tuition (and program fees where indicated on course grid and description) will be billed by the Student Accounts Office, beginning in April.  
    • Room and board will also be billed by Student Accounts, but may be billed after tuition.


Tuition for Summer 2017 is $4,600 per single unit block (4 semester hours).  Additional program fees may apply. These fees vary and may cover trips or materials. Check course descriptions for program fees. 

Deposit:  A $500 course deposit is required to enroll in Summer Session courses, and should be submitted with your application.  Should you not be accepted, the course deposit will be refunded. This deposit will be credited to your final tuition payment.

Room and Board

Room and Board charge is variable, depending on the program you select (regular or pre-college block). The price includes single or double room in Mathias Hall, and a meal plan.  Room and board will be charged to the student account in addition to tuition and program fees.

Apply:  Please complete and submit the  Pre-college Student Housing Application form.  

Meal Plan: Your meal plan money will be loaded on your CC ID card.  The dollars are flexible, and can be used for meals in Rastall Dining Hall and/or snacks and drinks at Colorado Coffee.  The meal plan covers two meals a day, and depending on which meals you eat, up to $100 worth of additional funds for meals and cafe goods. Alternatively, you can also pay at the door with cash, credit, or debit cards, at the rate listed below + tax. 

2017 Meal Prices

Meal prices will be subtracted from the meal plan dollars loaded on CC ID cards at the following rates:  

Breakfast - $7.65; Lunch - $9.80; Dinner - $12.90
