Course Description: Structures and functions of biomacromolecules, organelles, and cells and the flow of energy and information within and among them. Provides an introduction to molecular and cellular biology, with emphasis on how to address questions experimentally.

Prerequisite: Chemistry 107, or AP/IB equivalent, or consent of instructor. No credit after Biology 131 or Biology 232.
