Resident Advisors

Resident Advisors (RAs) are an integral part of the Residence Life & Campus Activities staff. RAs are upper class undergraduate students that live in the residence halls. RAs are student leaders who receive extensive training and maintain close contact with the residents. They help maintain safe and affirming spaces; mediate peer-to-peer conflicts; and develop social and educational programming to enhance residence hall living.

ATTEND AN INFORMATION SESSION

During each Information Session we will discuss the expectations for the RA position, talk about each housing community, outline the application process, and answer questions from participants

PARTICIPATE IN THE GROUP INTERVIEW PROCESS

Group Interviews will take place on Saturday, February 25, 2017 in Worner Center. Aim for a half-day process. More information about times will be provided in the email invitation.


PARTICIPATE IN INDIVIDUAL INTERVIEW PROCESS

Candidates will sign up for an individual interview at the completion of the group interview process.

30 minute Individual interviews will take place from Monday, February 27, 2017 through Thursday, March 2, 2017.


RECEIVE STATUS NOTIFICATION 

All applicants that participated in the interview process will receive an email informing them of their application status on Wednesday, March 8, 2017 by 5 p.m..


SUBMIT YOUR SIGNED CONTRACT

Applicants offered a position for the 2017-2018 academic year must indicate whether or not they will accept the offer by returning the RA CONTRACT included with their offer by 5:00pm on Thursday, March 16,  2017 to the Residential Life & Campus Activities Office in Worner room 230.
