Priddy Trip Registration

Greetings Incoming CC Transfer Students;

As part of your introduction to Colorado College, all students (including transfers!) participate in a 5-day trip called the Priddy Experience, during New Student Orientation Week. During the Priddy trip, students travel in small groups of their fellow students with two upperclassman leaders who are trained specifically to lead these trips. The Priddy Experience is required for all incoming students unless they have special exceptions. We are intentional to place incoming transfer students on trips with fellow transfers.

Our trips are a great way to start building relationships and community with your classmates, as well as introduce the unique CC experience by fostering a sense of civic responsibility in partnership with the southwest community. We send out over 50 different Priddy trips each fall,  heading to different sites around Colorado, New Mexico, and Texas to work with non-profit and community service organizations. The service work varies with each site, and may include trail building and maintenance, working with younger children at school and day camp sites, helping run a race or event, assisting with the seasonal harvest, and much more! Each trip involves two service days and a “cultural day” to explore the local outdoor and indoor sites with your group. The Priddy Experience has been running for over 11 years and these organizations love working with our students!

You will sign up for your Priddy trip by clicking here filling out an application. This application helps us know a bit more about you and choose a site that suits your preferences. The application also includes more information to help you prepare for the trip! All students will be placed into trips later in the summer, and you will find out your trip and more details once you arrive on campus.
