Late Night & Block Break Programming

At Colorado College the enterprise Residential Life & Campus Activities is at the heart of campus life focused on the holistic development of students.  Through our efforts around late night programming and block break programs, RLCA develops recreational opportunities that shape the student narrative around inclusion, mattering, engagement and school spirit.

Late Night Programming

Late Night programming at Colorado College is designed to offer students free social, cultural, and athletic programming opportunities on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights. From Midnight Breakfasts, concerts, movies, Dance Work Shop performances, and so much more - coordinated in cooperation with student organizations, the Butler Center, and other campus partners.

The Office of Residential Life & Campus Activities puts out a WEEKEND DIGEST that outlines Late Night Programs each week. Follow us on facebook to stay informed of additions and changes to the schedule!

Block Break Programming

Residential Life & Campus Activities offers block break activities for students during blocks 1, 2, 3, 5, and 7 through the Campus Activities Block Break Fund. It allows all activities to be free of any expense to students from on campus craft sessions to off-campus day trips that have included trips to a wolf sanctuary, pumpkin patch, the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo, and Castle Rock Outlets.

Students can find out about Block Break programs by checking their email in the week prior to breaks, keeping an eye on the CC Campus Activities Facebook page, and looking out for fliers posted in the Worner Center and the 3 large halls. While the day trips require RSVP and wait lists are often held, the on-campus events that you see this break are open to any who wish to participate and show up.
