STUDENT PREREGISTRATION INSTRUCTIONS
Students preregister in “Self-Service Banner” (SSB)
v Login to SSB with your student ID and Banner PIN.
v Click on Preregistration
v Choose your courses for each block
Submit a draft of your proposed schedule to your advisor.
When you meet with your advisor to discuss your proposed schedule, they will give you your Preregistration Passcode.
You will be prompted to enter your passcode when you submit your course choices in SSB.
Don’t wait until the last day to do your preregistration, the program gets bogged down and has been known to break.
You cannot sign up for Independent Study or Research during preregistration. You must complete a drop/add or Independent Study form and submit to the Registrar’s Office. These are created individually and require subtitles and signatures.
Pay attention to any prerequisites courses might have. The program will check to see if you've already taken the prerequisite or if you will have them by the block you're intending to take the course.
You must have a PIN to preregister for any course with the COI (Consent of Instructor) or COD (Consent of Department) designation.
You may pick up a copy of the printed 2018-19 Course Schedule in the Registrar’s Office after Spring Break..
Be sure to use ALL 40 points!
You may view your preregistration results in SSB on Wednesday, May 2nd.
All changes to your schedule can be made is SSB once the preregistration program has been run and you have received your results.
