Coronavirus (COVID-19) Updates for Events and Facilities

As Colorado College responds to Coronavirus (COVID-19) developments, many events are being canceled.

Admission open houses and visits, among other scheduled events, are canceled. Spring Break has been extended and Block 7 classes will be delivered via distance learning. Many campus facilities and services will continue operating, but their hours may have changed (see below). Updated hours of campus facilities:
Starting on Thursday, March 12, Rastall Café will be operating with limited hours: 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 5 to 6 p.m. As of Monday, March 16, Colorado Coffee will be open 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. 

Out of caution, all self-service stations in Rastall Café will switch to full-service stations. Anticipating that the new format may cause slight confusion on the first day, Bon Appetit will have floor ambassadors and staff to assist. The Student Health Center will be closed on Saturday, March 14, and Sunday, March 15. It will reopen from noon to 3 p.m. over Spring Break. It will also be closed on Saturday, March 21.
Campus Safety transportation for students will continue. Campus Safety will provide grocery-store shuttles over Spring Break on Fridays from 3-6 p.m. Shuttles will be available in Block 7; times and dates are forthcoming. Emergency transportation to urgent care centers and to the hospital, as well as safe rides, are available 24/7.
The Counseling Center will be open weekdays, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., and the counselor on call will be available 24/7. To reach the Counseling Center, call (719) 389-6093.
The sexual assault response coordinator on-call advocates will remain available 24/7 through Spring Break and can be reached at (719) 602-0960.
Mail Services will be open regular hours, weekdays 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., during Spring Break.

The Print Shop will maintain regular hours. Please continue to submit print orders through PageDNA.
ITS support will continue and will be bolstered to support upcoming distance-learning needs. See Student Resources for Distance Learning.
The Colorado Springs Fine Arts Center at Colorado College will be operating with its regular hours. Taste Restaurant will be closed after today, March 13,until further notice. The Tactile Gallery is temporarily closed; all tactile and interactive elements throughout the museum exhibitions have been removed. Based upon CDC recommendations, starting on March 18, all large events are postponed or canceled until at least April 17See which events have been canceled or postponed.  
Tutt Library will be open on weekdays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Block 7 hours will be determined at a later date.
Adam F. Press Fitness Center is open Thursday, March 1211 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily Monday-Friday. Open Saturday and Sunday 11 a.m.-3 p.m. This includes both Spring Break and the extra Spring Break week. Plans for Block 7 will be shared once finalized.
Worner Campus Center is open weekdays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and open only during meal times on weekends and evenings. Worner Campus Center staff will determine Block 7 hours in the final week of Spring Break.
Honnen Ice Arena will close at 5 p.m. on March 18 and remain closed through April 19.
Schlessman Natatorium will be closed after March 18.
The bookstore will be open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. from Monday, March 16 to Thursday, March 19. The bookstore closes to take inventory on Friday, March 20 and Saturday, March 21. The bookstore will maintain its 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. hours to serve the students who remain on campus.
