Advancement Leadership

Dear Campus Community,

I'm excited to share that Mark Hille, currently in an interim role, will become vice president for advancement effective Feb. 1.

Mark has helped lead our strong Advancement Division since arriving at CC six years ago. Prior to accepting the interim VP role, he directed the development office, where his team raised $350 million in the current campaign toward the goal of $435 million.

Before joining CC, Mark was vice president for development at his alma mater, the U.S. Air Force Academy. While there, he helped launch a new foundation focused on raising private support for the institution. Early projects there included the Holaday Athletic Center and the Center for Character and Leadership Development, both made possible by philanthropic support.

Mark also worked at Valparaiso University in Indiana, and spent six years in the Air Force as an officer. He is currently serving on the board of the Pikes Peak Community Foundation.

I look forward to continuing to work with Mark and his team as we make progress toward achieving our campaign goals and engaging the wider CC community in our mission.

Please join me in welcoming Mark to this new role!

Best Regards,

Jill Tiefenthaler
President
