Connect the Dots is an informal (and now virtual) gathering space for student artists, makers, and creative thinkers to come together and build community.
It is an open spacefor all to come and connect with other students from different backgrounds and disciplines.
Between coursework, student organizations, on campus jobs, and the myriad of other things that keep them busy, students on our campus often struggle with finding the time and space to foster long lasting and meaningful connections,or simply breathe. This can be especially true for students who participate in the arts, who are often looking for places to spend time with other creatives to share their works-in-progress, get feedback, and expand their ideas.
Connect the Dots aims to be that space and help creative students buildauthentic and empowered relationships that permeate our entire campus community. Embracing fluidity and process, the structure of Connect the Dots is loose so that the space can be whatever students need it to be.
During these uncertain times where cannot all be together physically, this fluidity is even more important as we build community digitally!
Students can be a part by joining our Facebook Group and/or following us on Instagram. We're using those platforms to continue to build connections and share resources that inspire us!
We'll also be doing #CreativityChallenges, Digital meet-ups, video concerts, and more so stay tuned! Click on any of the links below to stay involved!
