Packard Performance Hall is designed primarily for the performance of live non-amplified musical events. It is an integral part of the academic and performance program of the Music Department, and must be available for those purposes. Major Performance Series sponsored by the Dean's Office, Endowed Lectures are accommodated whenever possible. The limitations of the Performance Hall in terms of lighting, stage access, and space make it impossible for dramatic and dance presentations.

Packard Hall seats 334 with 210 on the main floor, 54 in the balcony and 70 in additional seating in the balcony (non-fixed seating.)
