Frequently Asked Questions
Q. What is my CC Box #? (Previously called Worner box number)
A. Details can be found on the Information for Students page. Box number is in the "Your Address" accordion.
Q. Why is my mail being returned?
A. We hold mail for 12 days. If you do not pick it up within that time we will return it to the sender.
Q. Does the Mail Center sell boxes?
A. There are medium and small boxes suitable for moving for sale most of the year. Padded and cardboard mailers are for sale for $1.00 each. Rolls of packing tape are also available for $4.00. The mailroom has a limited selection of FedEx Express boxes and USPS flat rate boxes that are free to take but must be sent the way they are marked. For example, flat rate boxes cannot be sent a cheaper way. We encourage students and staff to reuse boxes and packing materials from the bins in the Mail Center.
Q. What address should I use?
A. For students, check the Information for Students page. Staff and faculty should check the Information for Staff/Faculty page.
Q. Can I ship through FexEx or UPS through the Mail Center?
A. Yes, you can ship with FedEx (Express, Home, or Ground) and UPS or drop off any pre-paid packages. All shipping options will not always be available, depending on the destination and weight of the package.
Q. As an employee, can I send personal mail through the Mail Center?
A. Yes. All packages and letters must be sealed, addressed, and bear the correct postage. Postage may be purchased through the Mail Center and be paid for by cash, check, MasterCard, Visa, or CC Gold Card Plus. Credit and debit card transactions must be over $10. We do not accept P-Cards.
