Student mail services during Winter Break 2015

The Worner Mail Center will close Friday, December 18th at 3:30pm and will not re-open until Monday, January 4th, 2016 at 9:00am. The Worner Mail Center does not offer forwarding services during winter break, so please be sure to pick up any tickets, medical or perishable items before closing on Friday, December 18th. Mail Services will not be responsible for any items that are not picked up before or arrive after 3:30pm December 18th.

Cutoff time at the Worner Mail Center window for any FedEx, UPS or USPS mail/packages will be 1:00pm on Friday. Please do not put any FedEx shipments in the Worner Center Fed-Ex drop box or the USPS outgoing mail slot on Friday, December 18th as they may not be picked up until after the Winter Break ends!

Mail Services open for Winter starts and Transfer students 2016

Mail Services will be open the following date and time:

Saturday, January 9th - 10:00am to 2:00pm

Please have your ID ready when picking up packages

***Early shipping of items for New, Winter starts and Returning Students.

New, Winter starts and returning students may ship items at any time. New students who do not have a Worner Box assigned to them should have “Hold for incoming student” marked on the outside of the shipment. Returning students should use their Worner Box address. The address format for students is:

 

Students full name, no nicknames please / WB# ____

Zip + 4 = Students Worner Box number

Example - WB#1 = 0001

Example - WB#21 = 0021

Example - WB#181 = 0181

Example - WB#1150 = 1150

*Zip + 4 is not required but can help us identify the proper Worner Box in the event of the of the shipping label being damaged or unreadable.

Students Important Summer Mail Services Options

Students, please notify the Mail Services Department where you like your mail directed during the 2016 Summer Break. It is especially important that we receive your information by no later than Wednesday May 11th.  Please see the link below for your options.

 

Students you have three options for your USPS First Class mail to be directed during the Summer Break.

 

  1. Forward my mail to my home address: You do not have to do anything if this is your request. All First Class mail will be forwarded to the home address supplied to the Registrars Office.
  2. Do not forward my mail, I will be here this summer: Please obtain and complete a Mail Service Option card from the Worner Mailroom Staff and return signed card to the Mailroom Staff.
  3. Please forward my mail to an address different than my home address: Please obtain and complete a Mail Service Option card from the Worner Mailroom Staff and return signed card to the Mailroom Staff.

 

Mail forwarding will begin on Tuesday May 17th. Please note that UPS, DHL and FedEx will not forward shipments. If you have any questions or concerns please call 389-6427 or 389-6799.

Mail Services Faculty and Staff Winter Break Schedule 2015

Mail Services will close on Friday, December 18th at the normal time. All mail that needs to be metered that isn’t picked up by the Mail Couriers before the College closes on Friday should be taken to the Worner Mail Center by 1:00pm. Please do not put any FedEx shipments in the Worner Center Fed-Ex drop box or the USPS outgoing mail slot on Friday, December 18th as they may not be picked up until after the Winter Break ends! Any outgoing FedEx, UPS or USPS stamped mail or packages should be given to the Worner Mail Center staff at the window before 1:00pm.

Mail Services will be open the following days from 11:00am until 2:00pm to allow departments to pick up their mail and packages during the Winter Break:

December:

Monday 21st

Wednesday 23rd

Monday 28th

Wednesday 30th

Thursday 31st

Mail Services will not be responsible for any perishable or any shipments containing live plants or animals that arrive during the Winter Break.

Mail Services will return to normal hours on Monday, January 4th with regular mail courier services.

Worner Mailroom is now excepting MasterCard and Visa credit/debit cards for payment!

The Worner Mailroom is now accepting credit/debit cards as a payment source for mailing packages and stamp purchases. However, the following are the guidelines that have been established in order to use a debit or credit card for payment.

 

1.)    $10 minimum charge to use a credit/debit card for payment

2.)    There is a $2 surcharge on each credit/debit card payment.

3.)    Visa and MasterCard are the only cards that are accepted.

4.)    Cards can only be swiped; account numbers cannot be manually entered.

5.)    No exceptions to rules 1-4!
