Tech Sandbox

There's always something happening in the Class of 1967 Tech Sandbox, where ITS: staff introduce and test new and emerging technology.

Students, faculty, and staff can come test new technology and experiment with bringing their ideas to life. It's staffed with friendly student workers who can help you with projects.

The Sandbox has lots of equipment for exploration, education, and experimentation. This includes:

  • Microsoft Hololens
  • HTC Vive
  • Lulzbot Taz 6
  • Cubex
  • Raspberry Pis
  • Arduinos
  • Google Cardboard headsets
  • Leap Motion Controller
  • Bluetooth Keyboard
  • Virtual Laser Keyboard
  • Large displays
  • Multi-DVD duplicator
  • Epson 10000xl scanner

We've hosted class VR sessions, demonstrations on technology, and several training sessions on topics from 3D printing to virtual reality. If you have something you'd like to see or try out, let us know and we'll work with you to try and make it happen!
