    Digests and Listservs

    Listservs are digital mailing lists which can be used to share information with a list of subscribers.

    Daily Digests: Today at CC

    Users receive one Today at CC daily digest automated email per day, including audience-specific events and announcements sections (for students, faculty, or staff).

    To post an announcement or event, visit Today at CC, and click the small “+” icon in the menu bar on top of the page. Log in via your CC credentials (if not already) and create your new announcement or event.

    NOTE: Posting in Today at CC will not post to the campus event calendar; public events posted to the campus event calendar will be considered for inclusion in Today at CC.  Today at CC is a promotional tool; posting events to Today at CC does not reserve a venue or space on campus. Please continue to use the CC Events Management System for space and logistical needs.

    • The announcements section in the Daily Digest email each morning includes all announcements posted in the previous 24 hours;
    • The events section in the Daily Digest email includes a chronological list of events happening in the next 72 hours only; a comprehensive list of all events is on the Today at CC webpage;
    • Many approved events that have been posted to the campus event calendar will automatically be included in Today at CC; please check if Today at CC is already showing your event prior to posting;
    • Use the new “tags” field to quickly provide key terms that are related to your event (ex. dinner, concert, symposium, or your own custom tag);
    • Event filters that allow users to sort by audience (student, staff, faculty, public), tags, sponsors, and date;
    • The Today at CC homepage displays events occurring today and all announcements posted in the past 24 hours;

    Use this guide to help you navigate the tool or contact the ITS Solutions Center: ITS@coloradocollege.edu.

    Today at CC performs best using Chrome or Safari browsers; support for Firefox, Edge, and Internet Explorer is in progress.

    Today at CC Do's and Don'ts

    • If you have an announcement relevant only to one group — students, staff, or faculty — select only the appropriate audience.
    • Use standard capitalization, punctuation, and style guidelines in your posts.
    • Do NOT submit sales or personal items (house sitting, pets, etc.) to Today at CC. Instead, use the Sales list-serv. Thank you for helping cut down on unwanted email!
    • Remember: Any information posted to the digest is considered public. Do not include private or sensitive information in your postings.
