Billing & Finances

There is no additional tuition charge for blocks taught off-campus during the academic year, but there is an additional program fee that varies by class and location.  The program fee covers travel costs such as lodging, food, excursions, entry tickets, etc.  It is your responsibility to understand exactly what is included in the program fee and what is not -- your professor can give you specific details.

Financial Aid for individual CC Blocks Off-Campus During the Academic Year: Students who currently receive need-based financial aid at Colorado College are eligible to apply for additional grants from the College to help defray the cost of the additional program fee and transportation for your individual block off-campus (a full CC Semester Off-Campus has different aid policies that can be found here).

Eligibility:

  • Aid is available to all rising sophomores, juniors, and seniors at Colorado College who are currently on need-based financial aid at the College (completed a FAFSA for domestic students or the College Board's CSS PROFILE for international students).
  • If you have received an academic-year Financial Aid Award previously you are not eligible to apply.

Awards: Awards will be granted on a first-come first-served basis. The amount you receive will be based on your level of financial need. Financial Aid Awards take into account the total course costs, including the program fee, estimated airfare, and any additional costs such as a required visa.  Rising seniors (students with IDs beginning with 15) will be awarded first followed by rising juniors (IDs beginning with 16) and then rising sophomores (IDs beginning with 17).

Important Upcoming Dates:

Academic Year 2018/19 Financial Aid Application will open in March 2018.
