Barbara J. Wilson
Barbara has been the Director of Human Resources at Colorado College since 2000. She worked previously at the Community College of Denver as the Human Resources Director and as the Human Resources Director and Affirmative Action Director at the University of Alaska Anchorage. Barbara is a graduate of Chapman University where she earned a MS in Human Resource Management and from Alaska Pacific University where she earned a BA in Organizational Administration.
Barbara is active in the College and University Professional Association for Human Resources where she served as chair of the local chapter and regional boards, and as a member of the national board.

Lisa came to CC in 2012 in the newly created position of Associate Director. Prior to CC, Lisa served as HR Director at the Kansas University School of Medicine and as a HR Consultant in the long term care and acute care industries. Her educational background includes a BA in Health and Physical Education and a MS in Administrative Studies/Human Resources from the University of South Dakota. Lisa is a certified Senior Professional in Human Resources and a member of the national Society for Human Resource Management.

Jessica, who is originally from Greeley CO, came to Colorado College in the spring of 2015. She started her 12 year career in the United States Air Force where she was able to experience an array of positions in the administrative field across the United States and Germany. After separation, Jessica focused her time on attaining her BA in Organizational Management through Ashford University. The University of Arizona was her next stop where she spent three years in the Financial Services Office as the executive assistant. Jessica is currently pursuing her MA in Organizational Development and Leadership from the University of the Rockies.

Paul joined Colorado College in 2013 as the Talent Acquisition Manager. Paul began his career in retail operations with Fortune 500 retail companies and leveraged those talents to transition to a career in Human Resources. Paul transitioned from corporate to higher education as Sr. Human Resource Generalist at a start-up Community College where he was responsible for the recruiting strategies. Paul earned a BA in Business Administration from Southeast Missouri State and is certified in Project Management, Change Management and Training Facilitation.

Pam’s career in HR began in 1988 with Walter Drake and Sons where she managed payroll and benefits processes, employee relations, policy development and communications, served as editor of the employee newsletter, and led the implementation of an automated time and attendance system. Pam joined Colorado College in 1998 as an Employment Specialist. In this role, Pam was instrumental in the college’s conversion to the Banner enterprise-wide database. Pam’s current role includes oversight of the HR module of Banner and supporting the salary administration, job classifications, and talent acquisition functions. Pam attended the Detroit College of Business and has participated in numerous HR professional development seminars with Mountain States Employers Council.

Renae came to Colorado College in 2017 as an Employment Specialist. Renae provides support to talent acquisition working with Banner, the college enterprise-wide database. Renae performs daily entry for new hires, terminations, salary, and status changes Renae recently moved back to Colorado Springs in 2015 from the Washington, DC area, where she worked in Human Resources for 16 years. She most recently worked at Cherwell Software in Colorado Springs. Renae has BA in English from the University of Colorado at Denver.

Coming to CC in 2013, Matt provides support to the talent acquisition, onboarding, and HRIS functions. Prior to CC, he worked for the Colorado Springs School District 11 and George Mason University in the HR department where he supported the recruitment and onboarding programs. Matt has BS from the University of Northern Colorado and is pursuing a MS in IT Management from Regis University.

Laurie came to Colorado College in 2014 after having served as Vice President of Compensation & Benefits at Junior Achievement in Colorado Springs. Her expertise in benefits spans over 15 years. Laurie has a BS in Sociology from Lamar University and a MBA from the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs. In addition, Laurie holds certifications as a Senior Professional in Human Resources, a Certified Compensation Professional and a Certified Benefits Professional.

Gina began her career at CC in 2006 as the Office Coordinator in Human Resources and now provides expertise in the benefits area. Prior to CC, Gina worked at Hawaii Pacific University for 13 years where she served in support roles to the Dean of the College of Natural Sciences and the Director and Dean of the Military Campus Programs. Gina has a BA in Human Services and a MA in Human Resource Management.
