2015-2016 Staff Annual Evaluation Appeal Process
- Staff may appeal if their supervisor determines that their overall job performance is not acceptable.
- Appeals must be submitted via email to Barbara Wilson (firstname.lastname@example.org), Director of Human Resources, and to the immediate supervisor. The staff member must provide specific reasons related to performance and why he/she believes that the overall rating is inaccurate.
- The deadline to submit an appeal is May 13, 2016. Appeals will be decided no later than May 27, 2016.
HR will notify the staff person that their appeal was received. The appeal will be reviewed by a group of three individuals.
The appeals group will review the performance evaluation completed by the supervisor, the staff self-review, and the appeal letter; and may elect to meet with the supervisor and staff person if they have questions related to the documentation. The appeals group will make a recommendation to the Sr. Vice President for Finance and Administration whose decision will be final.
