Summer Housing

Colorado College offers on-campus housing to enrolled Summer Session students, MAT students, visiting undergraduates, Student Research (SCoRE) participants, and participants of other college summer programming.

All enrolled students have the option to live off-campus during the summer season.

The 2022 Summer Housing Application is available via Summit and the Summer Session Website. Applications are due no later than May 1, 2022. Summer housing will be posted to student accounts prior to the beginning of Summer Session on May 6, 2022, along with required meal plan costs. Summer Housing costs vary depending on the type of housing and the length of stay. Any financial request or support regarding Summer Housing needs to be submitted to Summer Session. 

For Summer 2022, all summer housing will be in Mathias Hall.

Gap Housing  May 23 - June 1 (available to all students who applied through Summit. Students requesting Gap Housing will be charged per night. However, students who requested Block A Housing for a Block A class will not be charged for their stay during Gap Housing - Gap Housing will be included in their Block A charge. This excludes students who are here for research or on-campus employment and are required to be on campus working between certain dates - those students are charged for every night they are required to be on campus)

Gap Housing August 13 - August 26 (available to all students who applied for Block C Summer Housing through Summit and will automatically be applied to their Summer assignment approved timeline. Students who are here for Block C will not be charged for their stay during Gap Housing as it will be included in their Block C charge - IF they have a Fall 2022 assignment. This excludes students who are here for research or on-campus employment and are required to be on campus working between certain dates - those students are charged for every night they are required to be on campus. However, any students requesting to arrive on campus and move in during the Gap Housing dates will be considered "Early Arrivals" and will be charged per night. Early Arrival Dates and Process will be announced soon.)
Early Arrival

June 13 - 17 & June 20 - 24

  • Fall 2022 Sponsored (June 13 - 17) & Non-Sponsored (June 20 - 24) Early Arrival Move-in Process & Application to be shared with returning students, staff & faculty
    • Please Note: This early arrival does not apply to incoming first-years/new students and their process will be shared separately
    • Sponsored refers to students who are required to be on campus early for employment or athletic-related reasons and will only be requested by staff or faculty supervisors on behalf of those students
    • Non-Sponsored refers to students who are requesting to be on campus early for personal reasons. Arriving early for non-sponsored related requests will have a per night charge associated and is not automatically approved, all requests will be reviewed by an Early Arrival Committee made up of students and staff.
      • Please see specific move-in dates associated with early arrival further down on August 15 – 26

July 29

  • Early Arrival Move-in Application Closes
    • Housing will not accept early arrival requests after this date as we need to coordinate with Sodexo and other staff to prepare rooms for early arrivals and cannot accept any requests after that in order to respect the process and those working to make it happen
    • Students applying for Early Arrivals will receive confirmation within 3 business days of applying - the July 29 date only refers to the date the final application will be accepted 

August 15 – 26

  • Early Arrival Move-in Period for Returning Students
    • August 15 – 21: Sponsored Early Arrival Move-ins
      • Please Note: Sponsored refers to students who are required to be on campus early for employment or athletic-related reasons and will only be requested by staff or faculty supervisors on behalf of those students (students in this group needing to arrive before August 15 will be coordinated by Housing and their supervisor applying on their behalf)
    • August 22 – 26: Non-sponsored Early Arrival Move-ins

Daily Rate
The daily rate is applied to the varied schedules of students involved in summer research, as well as those needing housing outside of the summer program dates noted above. This includes early arrivals and late departures of students enrolled in the current academic year and/or summer programs

$34/per person per night – double room & Cottages
$38/per person per night – single room & Apartments

Gap Housing Rate
The daily rate is applied to the varied schedules of students requesting late departures after Block 8 ends and early arrivals before Block 1 beings. Gap Housing Dates: May 23 - June 1 & August 15 - 26
