European Innovation Academy

*Due to COVID-19, the program has been canceled for Summer 2020. Students selected this year have the option to transfer to Summer 2021. If all of the fellows do not transfer, applications for Summer 2021 will open Fall 2020.

The European Innovation Academy (EIA) Entrepreneurship & Innovation Summer School is the world's largest entrepreneurial summer program. Students from over 80 universities and 65 countries gather in Cascais, Portugal, to participate in a three-week accelerated program to turn their ideas into startups. Although the focus of the program is entrepreneurial, it is also a chance for students to experience collaborate in a multinational setting, practice teamwork, and work with mentors and speakers from globally recognized businesses.

Creativity & Innovation at CC offers Fellowships for students from Colorado College to attend the EIA. Fellowships cover all the costs associated with participation. Please note: no experience in entrepreneurship is necessary; everyone is encouraged to apply.

Application Requirements:

  • A completed application
  • A current resume
  • Names and contact information for three references
  • Two letters of support (from faculty, employers, mentors, etc.)

Contact Kara Carroll, Creativity & Innovation Administrative Assistant, if you have questions.
