Creativity & Innovation at CC provides support for faculty members working on projects that align with our programmatic areas of creativity and creative problem-solving, resilience, mindfulness, and cultivating changemakers.
To support faculty members who wish to incorporate creativity pedagogies into existing courses, develop new courses, or explore ideas and practices related to creativity that would otherwise be difficult to engage, Creativity & Innovation Faculty Grants of up to $8,000 are intended to encourage faculty to think boldly about the possibilities for creative teaching and learning at Colorado College. Grants may support course release replacements (per departmental policies), course development funds, stipends for creating or aligning courses with the Creative Process General Education requirement, research funds, honoraria for visitors, course materials, and travel funds (e.g. for research or conferences).
Letter of support from the team leader’s department Chair (faculty) or supervisor (staff).
Please note If the grant proposal involves the creation of new a course, substantial revision of an existing course, or involves departmental resources (human or financial), consent of the department chair must be obtained prior to the application submission.
