    Faculty & Staff Changemaker Grants

Check back for launch of Faculty and Staff Changemaker Grant applications in academic year 2020-21.

Faculty & Staff Changemaker Grants of up to $5,000 support projects that involve faculty, staff and students in the identification of complex real-world problems and exploration of possibilities for addressing those problems. Projects may be led by either faculty or staff members, or teams comprising both, and must include students as team members. This fund is not intended to finance research, nor block classes, but is intended to support projects that are not only investigating problems but are engaging in solutions. Applicants must demonstrate how their projects will add value and positive impact to the campus community and beyond. Support for projects may include: stipends for team members, honoraria for visitors, consultants, interview subjects, and travel funds. Please note: if the grant proposal involves interviews, experiments, or other research activities with human subjects, the proposal must receive IRB approval prior to the disbursement of funds.

Faculty & Staff Changemaker Grants Application packages include:

    • List of team members and their affiliations (faculty, staff) and class year (students)
    • Letter of support from the team leader’s department Chair (faculty) or supervisor (staff).
