Dear Families,

On February 6, 2021 El Paso County moved to Level Yellow: Concern on the COVID-19 Dial. Under Level Yellow El Paso County Public Health guidance regarding Children’s Day Camps limits the number of participants to 10 in indoor settings, specifically defined as spaces with four walls and a door.

Taking into consideration the colleges operations, limit on participants, uncertainty of field trip availability and the ability to safely staff the program; the decision has been made to cancel the FunQuest Summer Program for 2021.

7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Monday through Friday

Each family is responsible for transportation to and from FunQuest. Children should arrive no earlier than 7:30 a.m. and should be at Taylor Theater by 9:00 a.m. to be ready to participate in the morning's activities.

At closing (5:30 p.m.), if your child has not been picked up, a fee of $1.00 per minute will be assessed after a 10-minute grace period. Pay the fee directly to the staff member on duty. In the event the child has not been picked up by 5:40 p.m., the closing staff member will call all phone numbers available and stay with your child until picked up. After an excessive length of time, Campus Security will be notified. It is the closing staff's responsibility to ensure that all children are properly signed out and picked up.

Be sure to check the bulletin board and the calendar for daily special events, schedules, notices, and items of interest.

The Colorado College CSB Children's Center Director, 909 N. Nevada Avenue, can be reached at 389-6764. Children are allowed to use the phone only in case of an emergency.

Absences: Please notify staff by 9:00 a.m. each day if your child will be unexpectedly absent by calling 389-7217.

Field Trips: Every Wednesday, in preparation for field trips, please arrive by 8:30 a.m. Campers will be back by 4:30 p.m. unless otherwise noted.

Sign In/Out Procedure:

State licensing requires that you sign your child in and out every day. Please indicate your child's name (usually already listed for you at the beginning of a session), the time, and your signature or other identifier both upon arrival and upon departure. After your child is signed in, FunQuest staff members assume the responsibility for your child.

FunQuest staff members reserve the right not to release a child into the custody of any person deemed to be under the influence of drugs or alcohol. FunQuest staff members will only allow children to go with parents or "designated persons" from your registration form. If a non-designated person is to pick up your child, please notify the staff in writing ahead of time. If a non-designated person calls for your child, we will request I.D. FunQuest staff will call 911 and Security if it is deemed necessary, as your child will be released to authorized persons only!
