Linda Madden

Retired Staff

I have been at Colorado College since 2005 when my family and I moved to Colorado Springs from Pittsburgh, PA. A liberal arts graduate, I was drawn to the energy and vitality of campus almost immediately and worked for seven years in the Student Life Office before joining the Shove Chapel staff as chaplain’s office manager. I have a BA in English from Allegheny College with a double minor in theatre performance and music, and an MAT in Elementary Education from the University of Pittsburgh. My prior work experience includes jobs as a traveling pre-school teacher, advertising project manager, desktop publishing entrepreneur, and stay-at-home mom. When not at work, I enjoy reading, movies, and spending time with my family, including my husband, two daughters, and our pets, a Chihuahua and a cat. I like to sing, attend concerts, and enjoy music of many genres, especially great choral works and Broadway musicals. I am delighted to be able to support our spiritually diverse communities, as well as other Shove Chapel users, in this role where I learn something new every day.
