The Colorado College Student Farm is a space for learning and engagement around sustainable agriculture, food security, personal nutrition, and permaculture practice in the Pikes Peak Region. The Farm has been a space where students have cultivated sustainably grown foods, and also created opportunities for engagement around issues of food production and sustainability on the Colorado College Campus. CC Student Farm Interns have served as leaders in cultivating a culture of engagement around issues related to permaculture and sustainable food production in the Pikes Peak Region, and our students maintain active partnerships with community organizations including the Colorado Springs Food Rescue.
During the Spring and Summer of 2019, the CC Student Farm will undergo a strategic planning process to chart a direction for the Farm’s sustainable growth for years to come. For more information about this process, please contact Dr. Anthony C. Siracusa, CCE’s Assistant Director who directs the CC Student Farm, or CC Student Farm Program Associate Monica Black.
