Two CC Seniors Win Student Film Award with 'Stickworks' Documentary

Colorado College seniors Rachel San Luis and Nick Wellin are the winners of the Richard A. Lewis Memorial student film award for 2008-2009. Their documentary, "Stickworks," features North Carolina artist Patrick Dougherty at work on his "bird nest" sculpture in front of Armstrong Hall. Doughtery collaborated with CC students on the site-specific sculpture last fall.
The other finalists were CC students Emily White and Meredith Mantik with "Change of Heart"; Ian Hock with "Mexican Sky"; D.V. Dubler with "Oxytocin"; and Alyssa Aldaz with "Ruse."
