Tutt Library and Alumnus Author

Like many people who come to CC, John A. Haney ’62 enjoys spending time in the Charles L. Tutt Library.  Haney is at the library for a special assignment.

“I’ve always loved studying at libraries. I loved Coburn, but probably napped a little too much there! says Haney. (Coburn was the name of a prior College library.)

He has been visiting Special Collections and the one-of-a-kind materials housed there. These include a dozen or so rare photographs of trolleys in Colorado Springs.  Included is one showing the CC Class of 1901 at Stratton Park in front of a trolley.  Haney has co-authored two books on "Street-railroads".
