Spencer Spotts ('17) Joins SafePlace as Sexual Assault Services Specialist

We are excited to announce that Spencer Spotts (Feminist & Gender Studies '17) recently earned a position as Sexual Assault Services Specialist at SafePlace in Olympia, WA!

SafePlace, formed on October 9, 1981, by the merger of Rape Relief and the Women’s Shelter (two programs operated by the YWCA since 1973 and 1976), is a non-profit organization functioning as "the only advocacy agency and confidential shelter for survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault in Thurston County." Further, their "sexual assault program is one of the oldest in the nation."

Congratulations, Spencer, for joining this groundbreaking team!
