
In August Scott Krzych, assistant professor of new media, will be a featured speaker in Akbuk, Turkey, at the final session of the seminar on Media and Philosophy, a three-year long seminar that convenes biannually. Krzych will give a talk titled "The World in Miniature," concerning digital cartography and Google Earth, and will also lead a seminar session on the topic of teaching video games.
The seminar is a part of the ReSet program, funded by the Open Society Institute in Budapest, Hungary, which is dedicated to introducing new methods and disciplines, across a range of fields within the humanities, to advanced graduate students and junior professors in the post-Soviet region.
